The sensor device consists of a body 3 with pyroelectric properties, and of one or more elements formed by electrodes 4 and of a heat-insulating layer 6 at least partly between the patient's tissue and the element in question and of a protective and electrically insulating layer 5 in the element. The invention also relates to the use of materials with pyroelectric properties in the observation of respiratory gas flow through the patient's airway or airways. |
