Zusammenfassung:The invention describes a rotary cutting tool comprising a bowl-shaped cutter secured cantileverly to the spindle of the cutting tool mounted on supports resisting radial and axial loads and disposed in the hole of the casing whose outer surface is essentially the surface of a body of revolution. The support resisting the axial load is accommodated in the hole of the casing between the supports resisting radial loads. The hole of the casing is eccentric to its outer surface, and the geometrical axes of the hole and the surface are disposed in one and the same plane, radial threaded holes for securing the casing of the cutting tool in the holder being made in the casing of the cutting tool at the points of disposition of the radial supports, at the side of the outer surface. The invention can be most successfully used for finish machining of paper embossing calender shafts at plants of the paper and pulp industry. The rotary cutting tool and the holder for securing it in a tool-carrier make it possible to maximumly increase the rigidity and durability of the rotary cutting tool and the stability of the cutter, and are characterized, at the same time, by low metal consumption.
