Zusammenfassung:	1341515 Granulation for tablets &c BOEHRINGER MANNHEIM GmbH 1 June 1972 [4 June 1971] 25661/72 Heading A5B [Also in Division B5] Powdered masses are granulated by mixing with a powdered binding agent and heating the mixture in a fluidised bed to above the melting point of the binding agent and then, without interrupting the air current to the fluidized bed, cooling to below the melting point of the binding agent. The binding agent is preferably polyethylene glycol or a non-toxic wax, preferably comprises 5-30% of the mass and preferably has an average particle size of up to 100Ám. The granules may be formed into tablets, dragees, &c. Conventional adjuvants, fillers &c. may be added to the medicaments.
