The t a point and t e10 point are defined in German Industrial Standard DIN-51064 and refer to the temperatures at which a test specimen is compressed 3 mm. and 10 mm. respectively when subjected to a constant load of 2 kp. cm.-2 and a rising temperature in a furnace.
