Zusammenfassung:	1284316 Bromoacetoxy acetylenes STAUFFER CHEMICAL CO 28 July 1970 [28 Aug 1969] 36391/70 Heading C2C The invention comprises compounds of the formula where R is H or CN, R1 is H, alkyl, aryl, aryl substituted by alkyl of 1-6 carbon atoms, alkoxy of 1-6 carbon atoms, F, Cl, Br, I, NO 2 or CN, or is -CH 2 OOC-CHR-Br and R2 is H or CH 3 . Compounds wherein R1 is other than -CH 2 OOC-CHR-Br are prepared by reacting compounds of the formulµ Br-CHRCOhal and HOCH 2 -CHR2-C#C-R1 where hal is Cl, Br or I. Compounds wherein R1 is -CH 2 OOC-CHR-Br are prepared by reacting compounds of the formulµ Br-CHR-COhal and HOCH 2 -CHR2-C#C-CH 2 OH. The compounds may be used in pesticidal compositions.
