Zusammenfassung:The invention relates to a pneumatic vehicle tire having a tread comprising profile elements (11) that have spikes (1, 2), each having a spike body (3) anchored in a profile element (11) and a spike pin (4, 5) positioned therein, wherein spikes (1, 2) of a first type and of a second type are provided, which differ from each other at least in the design of their spike pins (4, 5), the spikes (1) of the first type effecting better lateral force transmission than the spikes (2) of the second type, which effect better circumferential force transmission than the spikes (1) of the first type, wherein recesses (14, 15, 16, 16', 17, 18) for receiving the ice particles created when the spikes (1, 2) scratch ice are formed in the profile elements (11) in the immediate vicinity of the spikes (1, 2), the recesses (14, 15, 16, 16', 18) in the case of spikes (1) of the first type differing from the recesses (17) in the case of spikes (2) of the second type in their shape and/or their position relative to the spike (1, 2) such that, when driving on ice, the recesses (14, 15, 16, 16', 18) in the case of the spikes (1) of the first type increasingly receive the ice particles accumulating under the influence of lateral forces and the recesses (17) in the case of the spikes (2) of the second type increasingly receive the ice particles accumulating under the influence of circumferential forces.
