A rock drilling apparatus comprising two frame parts (1, 2), which can be pivoted with respect to one another. The rock drilling apparatus comprises means for removing drill cuttings from a drill hole mainly by means of a flushing agent, and means for conducting the drill cuttings from the mouth of the hole for further processing. The drill cuttings are preferably separated from the flushing agent and conducted by mechanical conveyors (20, 21) to a second frame part (2). There are at least two conveyors arranged to pivot with respect to one another by means of a pivoting joint (23), so that the drill cuttings can be conducted over a steering joint from the first frame part to the second frame part. The conveyors are preferably provided with means for compensating for a change in the points of support of the conveyor, resulting from the turning of the frame parts.
