Zusammenfassung:	The invention is directed to a method for renovating the sewerage of a water-proof space in which method an adjustable and replaceable vertical water trap (10) is installed inside an original floor drain without damaging water insulation (2). The method comprises drilling an opening from the floor drain through the floor structure without damaging the water insulation (2). The new water trap (10) is inserted and mounted in the opening and the water trap (10) is connected to the main drain pipe with a new drain pipe (17) which is inserted in a space below the floor structure.
