Zusammenfassung:	Two groups (12a, 12b) of stacked timber are placed at a distance from each other inside a heat treatment chamber (20), in which hot air or steam is blow between (26) and towards the groups, dividing it into two flows. Each flow is controlled with the aid of guide planes extending through the groups. An independent claim is also included for the installation (20) used to carry out this method, comprising a heat treatment chamber and at least one carriage (30) for transporting the groups of timber, the chamber containing heating devices for the circulating air and having blower devices located in the middle region.
