| Zusammenfassung: | A process in which an aqueous solution of carbohydrate origin, eg. a wheat starch hydrolysate which contains a phospholipid and difficult-to-filter solid material is treated with a phospholipase enzyme prior to filtration is carried out by immobilising the phospholipase on or in the particles of a solid support such as an anion exchanger and agitating the particles in contact with the aqueous solution, the agitation preferably being effected by the upward movement of the aqueous solution through a column or bed of the particles. |
