Zusammenfassung: | The present subject matter is directed to a system 300 and method 400 for operating a wind turbine 100. The method 400 includes measuring, via one or more temperature sensors 302, 304, a local temperature of a component of the wind turbine 100 for a predetermined time period. The method 400 also includes determining a power capability 312 of the wind turbine 100 as a function of the local temperature. Another step includes measuring, via one or more sensors 252, 254, 256, 264, a power output of the wind turbine 100 for the predetermined time period. A further step includes determining a power margin 316 of the wind turbine 100 as a function of the power capability 312 and the measured power output and controlling the power output of the wind turbine 100 based, at least in part, on the power margin 316. |
