A packaging foil is formed from a packaging wrapper material. The median longitudinal axis of the clip limbs and the median longitudinal axis of the clip base lie in a common level. The clip base has a reference circle arc shaped curve. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a clipping strand is made of a closing clip (2) a matrix for processing of closing clip.
