La invención se refiere a un betún autorreparable que comprende microcápsulas rompibles a voluntad por irradiación, comprendiendo dichas microcápsulas: una cubierta de polímero obtenible por medio de un método de polimerización de múltiples etapas; y un núcleo que comprende un rejuvenecedor de betún y un absorbedor de radiación.
