Zusammenfassung:	The method involves providing a race participant with participant memories (TS1, TS2, TSn) e.g. radio frequency identification elements, separated from a vehicle memory (S1). Participant data is stored in the participant memories. The participant data is read by receiving/reading devices (P1, P2, Pn) i.e. barcode-reader, and stored in a database. Vehicle data stored in the database and the participant data are associated to each other using a central computer (3). New reading of the vehicle data and the participant data is executed. Testing of the associated data is performed. An independent claim is also included for a device for controlling and/or monitoring race vehicles on a race course.
