The primary side of the transformer is connected with a parallel circuit of the thyristor circuit through a power line (102). The secondary side of the transformer is provided for connection of a generator or a load to a power line of a power distribution network (105), through a changeover switch or a multi-switch. The thyristor circuit includes two anti-parallel-connected thyristor elements, and is connected in series with another circuit breaker. An independent claim is included for a method for operating a switchgear. |
