Zusammenfassung:	Diseases and pests pose a serious problem in the field of agriculture. The present invention proposes a new compound of formula (I) having biocidal activity, isolated from the fermentation product of endophyte fungi of the Guignardia sp genus. The invention also relates to: the method for obtaining the compound of formula (I); a fermentation product comprising said compound together with other known compounds that have the same structure and biocidal activity as the compound of formula (I); and the use of said compounds as biocides, and particularly as nematicides, either directly or using a composition, thereby providing an effective method for controlling phytopathogens and pest organisms that harm plants.
