Two spherical supports (10) are attached to one of the tips of the said guide arms (9) in a manner allowing them to rotate freely. Spherical supports (10) may be threaded onto a needle (11) or needle extended (27). The positions of spherical supports (10) orient the needle (11) so thai it can be precisely guided to any point in the body. The force of attachment of spherical supports (10) is variable so as to facilitate automatic release in the event of involuntary movement by the patient.
