The invention relates to an off-shore radio signal repeater which retransmits communication signals to a land base station and comprises: a first platform which is a floating support and houses the elements of the repeater; a base station located on the platform and configured to retransmit communication signals received in the coverage area thereof to the land station of the radio network to which the base station belongs, said base station comprising antennas for transmitting and receiving the communication signals in the radio network with which the base station is associated and electronic means for retransmitting the communication signals received by the antennas with a preset transmission power, which electronic means in turn comprise a gyroscopic unit and a magnetometer, both configured to orient the platform in the direction of maximum signal intensity; power supply means; and means for anchoring the repeater to the seabed.
