Zusammenfassung:	The invention relates to the field of carbon monoxide analysis, in particular to the use of reagents derived from rhodium (II) compounds coordinated with phosphorus for the detection of carbon monoxide in air or dissolved, to the preparation of the sensors and to the method of detection/quantification of carbon monoxide by means of the said reagents. The detection method is based on the reaction of CO with the metal centre of the reagents of the invention having in common disposing of a rhodium atom with great affinity for CO.
