Zusammenfassung:	The invention relates to a pretensioner for child safety seat harnesses, comprising: a frame (1) for securing to the seat; a belt-receiving and -release device (2) which is mounted on the frame, such that it can rotate about a central axis; a pretensioning device (3) associated with the belt-receiving and -release device; and a load limiting device (4) which is also associated with the belt-receiving and -release device. In addition, automatic activation means (25) are associated with the pretensioning device and are activated by the electronic control unit of the vehicle safety system.
