Zusammenfassung:Procedures for recovery of antioxidant compounds present in wine distillery effluents. An integrated process of separation, concentration and purification of antioxidant compounds present in the residual suspension (sr) obtained in the distillation columns of a wine alcohol (distillery) is proposed. Sr comprises depleted and condensed lees of the steam used to entrain the ethanol contained in the pomace and on the lees that are fed to the distillation column (fig. 1). The generation of waste is minimized and an alternative to conventional wastewater treatment technologies is offered. Sr processing is carried out by separating suspended solids and yeasts, using centrifugation and/or microfiltration, and then processing the liquid phase for the selective retention and purification of phenolic compounds with antioxidant power. The technologies considered include solvent extraction, processing with ultra- and nanofiltration membranes, and treatment with non-ionic resins for sorption and subsequent desorption with ethanol solutions. The above technologies can be used alternatively and/or together. The products obtained can be used for human and/or animal feed, as well as for applications in the food or cosmetic industry as natural antioxidants with biological activity.
