Zusammenfassung:The hob has an induction heating element (10), and a temperature sensor (12) for determining temperature. A control unit (16) identifies a cooking utensil element (18) by electrical characteristics of the element. The control unit determines cooking utensil temperature of the element by a function that depends on the sensor temperature and the thermal parameter specified for the element. The control unit executes a partially automated calibration program for determining the thermal parameters and assigns the thermal parameters to electrical characteristics of the element. An independent claim is also included for a method for operating an induction cooking hob.
