Zusammenfassung:The invention relates to a sensor having a consumption lower than 50 millwatts, intended for the measurement of magnetic fields in a frequency range of 0-5000 Hz. The device consists of a microwire (1) of amorphous magnetic material with a length of between 20 and 30 millimetres and a diameter of between 20 and 80 micrometres. The microwire has a magnetic domain in the form of a spindle arranged along the axis thereof, having a bistable hysteresis loop. Moreover, said microwire (1) is arranged inside a matrix of non-conducting material, on which a detection winding (2) and a compensation and measurement winding (5) are disposed. The invention is characterised in that the ends of the microwire (1) are secured to a circuit having an AC power source which circulates an exciting AC current of frequency through the microwire, thereby varying the volume of the longitudinal magnetic domain of frequency 2 . The microwire can be obtained by means of ultra-rapid cooling or electrolytic deposition.
