Zusammenfassung:	The invention relates to a container sealing device including at least one open guide (1) having two converging surfaces (14) for the passage of flanges (21a, 21b) extending from the half-casings (22a, 22b) of the container to be sealed. The aforementioned guide (1) includes an inlet (11) having a sufficient throat to enable the entry of the flanges (21a, 21b) with the couplings (23a, 23b) thereof disconnected and an outlet (12) having a narrow throat for discharging the flanges (21a, 21), the couplings (23a, 23b) thereof having been connected by reducing the width of the guide (1) as the container advances along same. Said guide (1) includes a stationary part (13) and a moving part (15) for adjusting the convergence of the surfaces (14).
