Zusammenfassung:	The subject of this invention is a compact and non-invasive portable orthotic device, useful for absorbing tremor and comprising: a substrate or support system for fastening the device to the upper limb comprising a distal portion and a proximal portion. At least one sensor is connected to the substrate to measure the limb movement and to generate a sensory signal. At least one actuator is securely fastened to the proximal substrate portion capable of exerting a force, through the distal substrate portion, to the user´s limb in order to absorb the tremor thereof. A control device includes a processor which analyses the sensor signal in order to detect tremor and generate the control signal of the actuator for absorbing tremor.
