Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) Method for protecting technical materials against attack and/or destruction by microorganisms, by treatment with at least one (I); (2) Microbicidal composition for technical materials comprising (I), at least one diluent or solvent, optionally also processing auxiliaries and other antimicrobial compounds; and (3) Technical materials containing at least one (I).
