LA PRESENTE INVENCION DESCRIBE UNA RED DE CONMUTACION DE CELULA QUE INCLUYE UN CONMUTADOR DE CELULA (AS) ACOPLADO A UN PRIMER TERMINAL (T1) Y UNA UNIDAD DE FUNCION (FU). EL CONMUTADOR DE CELULA ESTA TAMBIEN ACOPLADO A UN SEGUNDO Y TERCER TERMINAL (T2, T3) MEDIANTE UNA RED DE ACCESO DE CONMUTACION DE CELULA (AAN). EL PRIMER TERMINAL INTERCAMBIA INFORMACION CON EL SEGUNDO TERMINAL MEDIANTE LA UNIDAD DE FUNCION (FU) Y UNA PARTE PREDETERMINADA DE LA INFORMACION ES INDICATIVA DEL INTERCAMBIO DE INFORMACION ENTRE EL PRIMER Y SEGUNDO TERMINAL. LA UNIDAD DE FUNCION ESTA ADAPTADA PARA PROCESAR LA INFORMACION Y ESTA ADAPTADA PARA MODIFICAR LA PARTE PREDETERMINADA ANTERIOR DE LA INFORMACION PARA QUE LLEGUE A SER INDICATIVA DEL INTERCAMBIO DE INFORMACION ENTRE LA UNIDAD DE FUNCION Y EL TERCER TERMINAL. LA INFORMACION ES POR TANTO INTERCAMBIADA ENTRE EL PRIMER Y EL TERCER TERMINAL MEDIANTE LA UNIDAD DE FUNCION. The present invention discloses a cell switching network which includes a cell switch (AS) coupled to a first terminal (T1) and a function unit (FU). The cell switch is also coupled to a second and a third terminal (T2,T3) via a cell switching access network (AAN). The first terminal exchanges information with the second terminal via the function unit (FU) and a predetermined part of the information is indicative of the information exchange between the first and the second terminal. The function unit is adapted to process the information and adapted to modify the above predetermined part of the information so that it becomes indicative of information exchange between the function unit and the third terminal. The information is thereupon exchanged between the first and the third terminal via the function unit.
