Beschreibung
Zusammenfassung:Dispersiones acuosas de resina de melamina que contienen como fase discontinua una resina de melamina, que está estabilizada con una combinación constituida por un coloide protector catiónico y por un coloide protector aniónico. An aqueous melamine resin dispersion (I) contains a melamine resin as the discontinuous phase that is stabilized by a combination of a cationic and an anionic protective colloid. Independent claims are included for: (1) a process for the production of the dispersion (I) by mixing (A) melamine, (B) formaldehyde, (C) optionally urea and (D) optionally a compound suitable for a polycondensation reaction with formaldehyde in a ratio of 1 mole (A):1.3-3.0 mole (B) : 0.5 mole (C):0.01-0.3 mole (D), optionally in the presence of anionic and cationic protective colloids to form an aqueous solution of a melamine resin and heating at pH 7-10 and 5-140 degrees C until turbid, whereupon the protective colloids are added if not added earlier and further heating at 50-140 degrees C until a dispersion is formed; (2) a composition (II) comprising the dispersion (I), optionally 1-200 wt.% (w.r.t. the total amount of melamine and urea) of an uncured melamine resin and/or urea resin in dissolved form and optionally a thickening or thixotropic agent; (3) a film (III) prepared by coating an optionally pre-impregnated decorative paper with the composition (II); and (4) coated wooden articles by application of the film (III) to the surface of the wood and adhering or pressing at temperature.
