Procedimiento para la selección de informaciones de tráfico a transmitir por una central de información de tráfico a un aparato terminal de telefonía móvil, en donde en la central de información de tráfico, a causa de informaciones selectivas que representan la selección de una zona geográfica, se eligen las informaciones de mapa correspondientes a la zona elegida en un mapa digital de una red de tráfico existente en la central de información de tráfico, y sobre la base de las informaciones selectivas se eligen las informaciones del estado de tráfico que representan el estado de tráfico de tramos de carretera, correspondientes a la zona geográfica de la red de tráfico de carreteras, a partir de las informaciones del estado de tráfico existentes en la central de información de tráfico, y se envían por telefonía móvil al aparato terminal de telefonía móvil informaciones gráficas de tráfico que se basan en las informaciones de mapa elegidas y en las informaciones del estado del tráfico elegidas para la representación gráfica conjunta, y determinándose las informaciones selectivas sobre la base de la identidad de una célula de telefonía móvil, determinada por un operador de red de telefonía móvil, por la que pasa la comunicación entre la central de información de tráfico y el aparato terminal de telefonía móvil.
