The interaction with the aflatoxins gives after 2-3 days a beige halo corresponding completely with the fluorescent ring formed by the aflatoxins on ultra-violet (365 nm) observation. Medio de cultivo para la detección directa de cepas aflatoxigénicas, suplementando los medios de cultivo habituales con Cavasol W7M-ciclodextrina y desoxicolato de sodio. La interacción con las aflatoxinas provoca la aparición al 2º ó 3er día de un halo beige muy nítido observable a simple vista con luz natural. El anillo beige observado se corresponde perfectamente con el anillo fluorescente que forman las aflatoxinas cuando se observan bajo luz UV (365 nm).
