METODO DE DETECCION DE PREIGNICION

SE PRESENTA UN METODO DE DETECCION DE LA PREIGNICION QUE EVITA QUE ESTA SEA CONSIDERADA ERRONEAMENTE COMO PRODUCIDA CUANDO UNA BUJIA DE ENCENDIDO ESTA SUCIA. SE DETERMINA SI LA BUJIA DE ENCEDIDO ESTA O NO SUCIA DE ACUERDO CON UNA TENSION DESARROLLADA A TRAVES DE UN RESISTOR DE DETECCION QUE SE INTRODUCE EN UN MICROORDENADOR (18) EN UN MOMENTO RELATIVAMENTE TEMPRANO DESPUES DE HABERSE EMITIDO UNA SEÑAL DE COMANDO DE ENCENDIDO DESDE UN DISPOSITIVO DE ENCENDIDO. ADEMAS SE DETERMINA SI SE PRODUCE O NO LA PREIGNICION DE ACUERDO CON OTRA TENSION LOGRADA EN UN MOMENTO RELATIVAMENTE TARDIO DESPUES DE HABER EMITIDO LA SEÑAL DE COMANDO DE ENCENDIDO. CUANDO SE DETERMINA QUE LA BUJIA DE ENCENDIDO ESTA SUCIA, SE IMPIDE LA RECOGIDA DE LA OTRA TENSION EN UN MOMENTO RELATIVAMENTE TARDIO PARA EVITAR CONSIDERAR ERRONEAMENTE QUE SE HA PRODUCIDO LA PREIGNICION DEBIDO A UNA CORRIENTE DE FUGA CUANDO REALMENTE NO SE HA PRODUCIDO UNA PREIGNICION. A preignition detecting method which prevents preignition (PI) from being misjudged as having occurred when an ignition plug is fouling. It is determined whether or not the ignition plug fouls in accordance with a voltage, developed across a detecting resistor which is fetched into a microcomputer 18 at a relatively early timing after an ignition command signal is outputted from an ignition device. Further it is determined whether or not preignition occurs in accordance with another voltage fetched at a relatively late timing after the ignition command signal is outputted. When it is determined that the ignition plug is fouling, it is inhibited to fetch the another voltage at a relatively late timing to prevent a misjudgment that preignition occurs due to a leakage current from being caused though preignition does not actually occur.
