SE PRESENTA UN APARATO (1) PARA ORIENTAR TAPAS (2) CADA UNA DE LAS CUALES COMPRENDE UNA PLACA (3) Y UN BORDE PERIFERICO (4) QUE SALE DE LA MISMA, EL APARATO COMPRENDE: 1) UNA PRIMERA CINTA TRANSPORTADORA (5) PARA SUMINISTRAR UNA MASA DESORDENADA DE TAPAS, 2) UNA SEGUNDA CINTA TRANSPORTADORA (7) QUE CONECTA SOBRE UN EXTREMO CON LA MISMA Y QUE INCLUYE HACIA LA PARTE SUPERIOR UN ANGULO AGUDO DE ENTRE 20 (GRADOS) Y 80 (GRADOS) , PREFERIBLEMENTE ENTRE 40 (GRADOS) Y 50 (GRADOS) , POR DETRAS DE CUYA PARTE ACTIVA SE COLOCAN MEDIOS DE ATRACCION QUE EJERCEN UNA FUERZA DE ATRACCION SUFICIENTEMENTE GRANDE SOBRE LA PLACA PARA PROVOCAR QUE UNA TAPA SEA TRANSPORTADA A LO LARGO DE LA SEGUNDA CINTA TRANSPORTADORA (7) PERO QUE EJERCEN UNA FUERZA DE ATRACCION SOBRE EL BORDE PERIFERICO INSUFICIENTEMENTE GRANDE PARA PROVOCAR QUE UNA TAPA SEA TRANSPORTADA A LO LARGO DE LA SEGUNDA CINTA TRANSPORTADORA; Y MEDIOS DE DESCARGA (3) PARA SEPARAR LAS TAPAS DE LAS SEGUNDA CINTA TRANSPORTADORA Y PARA EL TRANSPORTE ADICIONAL DE LAS TAPAS CON LA MISMA ORIENTACION. An apparatus (1) for orienting lids (2) each comprising a plate (3) and a peripheral edge (4) standing away therefrom comprises: (1) a first conveyor belt (5) for supplying a disordered mass of lids; (2) a second conveyor belt (7) connecting thereon at the end thereof and inclining upward at an acute angle of between about 20 DEG and 80 DEG , preferably between about 40 DEG and 50 DEG , behind the active part of which are placed attracting means which exert a sufficiently great attractive force on the plate to cause a lid to be carried along by the second conveyor belt (7) but which exert an attractive force on the peripheral edge insufficiently great to cause a lid to be carried along by the second conveyor belt; and (3) discharge means for removing from the second conveyor belt and further transporting the lids all with the same orientation.
