CAMARA DE SANGRE PURGADORA DE AIRE

SE PRESENTA UNA CAMARA DE SANGRE PARA CONJUNTOS DE HEMODIALIS QUE COMPRENDE UN PARISON SELLADO, DE PLASTICO APLANADO, TIPICAMENTE OBTENIDO MEDIANTE MOLDEADO POR SOPLADO, QUE DEFINE UNA CAMARA DE UN DEPOSITO Y AL MENOS UN PRIMER CONDUCTO QUE COMUNICA CON UN PRIMER EXTREMO DE LA CAMARA DEL DEPOSITO A TRAVES DE UN PRIMER PUERTO. EL CONDUCTO SE EXTIENDE LATERALMENTE A LO LARGO DE SUBSTANCIALMENTE TODA LA LONGITUD DE LA CAMARA DEL DEPOSITO EN FORMA SEPARADA AL MISMO, PARA SU CONEXION CON LOS TUBOS DE UN CONJUNTO DE HEMODIALISIS ADYACENTE A LA CAMARA DEL DEPOSITO Y OPUESTOS A SU PRIMER EXTREMO. LA CAMARA DE SANGRE TAMBIEN DEFINE TIPICAMENTE UN SEGUNDO PUERTO QUE COMUNICA CON LA CAMARA DEL DEPOSITO, TIPICAMENTE EN EL MISMO EXTREMO DE LA MISMA QUE EL PRIMER PUERTO. A blood chamber device (74) for a hemodialysis set comprises a sealed, plastics tube that defines an elongate reservoir chamber (76) for holding blood. The chamber has blood inlet and outlet ports (100,102) at a lower end thereof. Two conduits (80,86) are provided, each conduit extending downwardly, from its upper end (82,88) that is connectable with hemodialysis set tubing (26b,30b), along substantially the length of the chamber in spaced relation thereto, to a lower conduit end that is connected with a respective one of said ports (100,102). The lower end portion of each conduit has a U-shaped bend (84,90).
