Zusammenfassung: | The method comprises: (a) placing the urine sample in a container which includes a substrate, or planar solid surface, which initiates cystallization, for approximately 5-6 hours at 37 degree C; (b) removing the substrate containing the crystals and dissolving them in acid medium; (c) evaluating the amount of calcium contained in said crystals. The kit comprises: small container 1 containing the substrate 2; container 3 containing the urine to be analysed; container 4 in which the container 1 is placed; test-tube-type receptacle 5 in which the crystals deposited on the substrate 2 are dissolved. Application in medicine and, especially, in the field of the inhibition of renal lithiasis.
