Universal stimulator device for the electrical gingival stimulation of the mentonian nerve

An anatomically designed universal stimulator device for carrying out clinical neurophysiology tests, such as trigneinal evoked potentials or any other test which requires the stimulation of the mentonian nerve. Seen in profile, it has the shape of the number "7", with a vertical branch 3 which is inserted into the vestibule of the mouth with the inner face 2 towards the gum, and a horizontal branch 1 which is inserted in the premolar dental occlusion. The vertical branch is divided into two parts which are joined by means of a dental expansion screw which allows the regulation of the size of the vertical branch, it being possible for it to be adapted to different vestibular channels. At the lower end 4 of the vertical branch and facing inwards, two gold spheres 5 are coupled which act as anode and cathode, welded to two antinoise cables. This electrode can be connected directly to the somesthesic stimulation module of any electromiography apparatus. The body of the stimulator is made from transparent semi-rigid dental plastic which means that it can be sterilized easily for indefinite reuse. ESTE ELECTRODO PUEDE CONECTARSE DIRECTAMENTE AL MODULODE ESTIMULACION SOMESTESICA DE CUALQUIER APARATO DE ELECTROMIOGRAFIA.
