An antifibrotic composition based on polymerized collagen. The invention relates to a new composition based on polymeric collagen, with an antifibrotic, regenerative effect. In a preferred embodiment the composition comprises soluble collagen and a vinyl polymer. The vinyl polymer provides a controlled crosslinking of the collagen, which is largely responsible for the antifibrotic activity.
