EL ALOJAMIENTO ACOPLADOR TIENE UNA PRIMERA PARTE (10) QUE INCLUYE UNA CARA POSTERIOR (26) CON UNA BOLSA AHUECADA (32) PARA RECEPCION DE LA TRAMA (140,240) DE MATERIAL, MIENTRAS QUE UNA SEGUNDA MITAD DEL ALOJAMIENTO (70,170) SE FIJA POR PRESION A LA PRIMERA MITAD (10). A coupler (2, 2 min ) for two modular plugs includes insulative housing (10, 70, 10, 170) having two plug receiving opening (12, 76; 12 176) for receipt of the modular plugs to be connected. A terminal assembly (120, 220) is included which incorporates a plurality of laterally spaced wire integrally held in a fixed array by a molded over web (140, 240) of insulative material. The coupler housing is two part where the first part (10) includes a rear face (26) having a recessed pocket (32) for the receipt of the web (140, 240) of material. A second housing half (70, 170) is snap latchable to the first housing half (10). The wires are formed into resilient contact portions (128, 134; 228, 234) with the contact portions disposed adjacent to the plug receiving openings (12, 76; 12, 176) for contact with the terminals on the modular plugs.
