Zusammenfassung: | Comprises an electronic circuit that includes an oscillator of very high frequency, a frequency divider stage, a low pass filter, an induction coil, a precision rectifier stage and a unit to display the measurement, it being possible to complement this configuration with a microcomputer for digital processing of the measurement signal. It is capable of measuring the equivalent magnetite present in minerals as well as the ferrous oxide present in sintered minerals in steel. The device uses the property of ferromagnetic bodies to change the inductance of a coil when they are placed near to it.
