Zusammenfassung:	A herbicidal compsn. comprises (a) a cpd. of the formula (I) and (b) a cpd. selected from 2,4-dichloropenoxyacetic acid, benzsulfuron methyl, thiobencarb, dimepiperate, esprocarb and dymron. X is CH3 or OCH3; Y is OCH3; Z is N or CH; provided that when Z is CH then X is OCH3 and when Z is N then X is CH3. Undesired vegetation in a rice crop is controlled by application to the crop after transplantation or emergence of a cpd. of the formula (I).
