Phosphate solutions and their use as binders

An aqueous aluminum phosphate solution, comprising component (i) mono aluminum tris(dihydrogen phosphate) and component (ii) a salt of a metal selected from the group consisting of alkali metals, alkaline earth metals and aluminum and mixtures thereof, and an acid at least as strong as phosphoric acid, with the proviso that if the said metal consists of aluminum, then said acid is stronger than phosphoric acid and (iii) phosphoric acid. The phosphate solution is used to react with a metal oxide curing agent in the presence of an aggregate to form a set cement. UNA SOLUCION ACUOSA DE FOSFATO DE ALUMINIO,QUE COMPRENDE EL COMPONENTE (I) TRIS(DIHIDROGENO FOSFATO) DE MONOALUMINIO Y EL COMPONENTE (II) UNA SAL DE UN METAL SELECCIONADO DEL GRUPO FORMADO POR METALES ALCALINOS, METALES ALCALINOTERREOS Y ALUMINIO Y SUS MEZCLAS, Y UN ACIDO POR LO MENOS TAN FUERTE COMO EL ACIDO FOSFORICO, CON LA CONDICION DE QUE SI EL METAL ES ALUMINIO, ENTONCES EL ACIDO ES MAS FUERTE QUE EL ACIDO FOSFORICO Y(III) ACIDO FOSFORICO. LA SOLUCION DE DOSFATO SE UTILIZA PARAREACCIONAR CON UN AGENTE DE FRAGUADO A BASE DE OXIDO METALICOEN PRESENCIA DE UN AGREGADO PARA FORMAR UN CEMENTO FRAGUADO.
