The terminal (100) has retaining units (113, 123) provided at an front part (111) of a flat spring (110) and an inner section (150) and acting together for locking a free end (121) of the inner section in a position in which the end limits a passage cross-section for an electrical conductor (200). The inner section extends parallel to a base of the flat spring. The front part is adjusted in such a manner that the part is elastically deformed for causing a relative movement between the end and the part and arranging the end in another position in which the free end reduces the cross-section. An independent claim is also included for an electrical device comprising an automatic electrical connection terminal.
