Zusammenfassung: | The invention relates to an extendible lead with an integrated excrement collector. According to the invention, one side of the casing is provided with a clip for securing spare bags prior to use. The inventive lead is of the type that includes a casing with a handle. The aforementioned casing contains a collection drum and the lead is dispensed through a front hole in said casing. The free end of the lead is provided with a snap hook or another means for joining same to a dog collar. The invention is characterised in that the casing is provided with fixing means including a sleeve, one side of which is provided with a screw for locking a tubular body inside said sleeve. The tubular body can slide longitudinally in relation to the casing between a retracted rear rest position and an extended forward use position in which at least one projection at the rear end of the tubular body is inserted into a recess in the sleeve in order to prevent the tubular body from rotating in relation to the casing during use. The above-mentioned means for fixing the tubular body to the casing include a longitudinal channel supporting a clamp which can be opened in order to remove the tubular body temporarily. The channel defines an arrangement for the tubular body at an open angle in relation to the angle occupied by the animal lead. In addition, the tubular body contains a flexible wire or similar, one end of which extends through a hole provided in an end piece at the front end of the body. The front end of the flexible wire is fixed to a point on the exterior of the end piece such that a lasso can be formed by tightening the wire using a cover that can be coupled to the last telescopic segment by means of a screw thread. An inverted bag is disposed in the lasso. The other end of the flexible wire extends from the opposite end of the tubular body and is connected to a handle which is provided at the end of an assembly of telescopic segments which are housed inside the tubular body. The flexible wire can be used to tighten the opening in the paper bag. In this way, the handle at the free end of the flexible wire is pulled in order to close the mouth of the paper bag around the excrement, such that the excrement is collected therein. |
