Dispenser for a pasty product, in particular shoe polish, with a container which contains the product and at its upper end displays a metering head, which is constructed as manually actuable piston pump with a piston to be actuated against the force of a restoring spring, with a pressure duct leading to a spreader head and which at its lower end displays a base piston which lies sealingly against the container wall and is displaceable along this by the pressure of the external atmosphere, characterised thereby, that the spreader head (2) displays a base (20) with central delivery channel (19) as well as spreader fitting (23) and is arranged at the metering head (1) with its axis (29) inclined through about 45 to 75 degrees, preferably about 70 degrees, relative to the dispenser axis (10), that the pressure duct (18) opens into the delivery channel (19), which in straight prolongation passes over into a product channel (33), which is enclosed by the spreader fitting and continuous from the base (20) to the crest (32), and that - in particular through appropriate formation of the length (L) of the product channel (33) and the clear diameter (D) of the delivery channel (19) - the volume-conveying performance of each individual piston stroke is matched to the advance of a product strand reaching just to the crest (32) of the spreader fitting (23). 1.
