Zusammenfassung:The present invention provides a highly safe aerosol generating device. A light source unit (110) comprises: an MCU (11) which performs first control (heating control), in which electric power for heating is supplied from a battery (12) to a heater (40), and second control (measurement control), in which electric power for measuring is supplied from the battery (12) to the heater (40); an operational amplifier (16) which produces an output according to the voltage applied to the heater (40); a protection circuit (30) for limiting the supply of the electric power to the heater (40) from the battery (12); and a control circuit (comparator (17)) for actuating the protection circuit (30) when, of the first control and the second control, only the second control is performed, and the output voltage of the operational amplifier (16) exceeds a threshold value (TH1).
