Zusammenfassung:Disclosed are an electronic device and a control method for controlling the temperature of a speaker. The electronic device comprises: a sensor for sensing the outside air temperature; a speaker for outputting sound; and at least one processor. The at least one processor predicts the energy of the sound. The at least one processor uses a thermal model to predict a temperature increase or decrease amount of the speaker from the predicted energy of the sound. The at least one processor predicts the temperature of the speaker on the basis of the outside air temperature and the temperature increase or decrease amount of the speaker. The at least one processor maintains the temperature of the speaker at or below a threshold temperature on the basis of the predicted temperature and the threshold temperature of the speaker.
