Zusammenfassung:	It is a problem of the present disclosure to provide an article transfer apparatus in which an operation of aligning articles is not hindered even when supply intervals of the articles change. In an article transfer apparatus (1), in cases where time intervals (Pt) of bags (G) supplied from upstream to an article introduction conveyor (11) become short and a control unit (80) judges that the bags (G) will not be able to be aligned even if they reach an alignment conveyor (21), an air nozzle (71) of an article sorting unit (70) sorts the bags (G) off the article introduction conveyor (11).
