COMPUTER-IMPLEMENTED METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR DIGITALLY CONTROLLING INDUSTRIAL PRODUCTION OF A CHEMICAL PRODUCT WITH CERTAIN ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT

Disclosed are a computer-implemented method and system for controlling the production of a chemical product with a certain environmental impact, wherein the method comprises the following steps:- Receiving a request, or order, indicating a chemical product, a desired quantity of the chemical product and a desired environmental impact of the chemical product;- determining a local and/or foreign location of one or more underlying chemical input materials required for the production of the requested chemical product, in order to fulfil the desired quantity and the desired environmental impact of the request;- gathering from a database, based on the determined local and/or foreign location of the required chemical input material(s), environmental impact attributes corresponding to the desired environmental impact required for production of the requested chemical product;- receiving the chemical input material(s) required for production of the requested chemical product from the determined local and/or foreign location(s);- removing, in the database, the environmental impact attributes for the chemical input material(s) received from the local and/or foreign location(s).
