The subject-matter of the present disclosure relates to a computer-implemented method of estimating a head tilt angle of a user of a toothbrush during brushing, the computer-implemented method comprising: sensing, using a sensor of the toothbrush, movement parameters associated with the toothbrush over a brushing time period; inputting, to a machine learning model, the sensed movement parameters to estimate a head tilt angle of the user at each time point of the brushing time period; and generating the head tilt angle of the user as the head tilt angle estimated by the first machine learning model.
