Zusammenfassung:	The invention relates to a method which is used to produce a suspension rail (10, 110, 210) which is integrated into a support plate (12). A support plate (12) is provided, and a profiled rail (14) with a receiving groove (16) is provided. The rear face (22) of the support plate (12) is machined in order to produce a receiving profiled section (24) for the profiled rail (14). The receiving profiled section (24) extends from the rear face (22) to the front face (20). The receiving profiled section (24) terminates at least partly in front of the front face (20) such that a thin wall section (28) remains at said location in front of the receiving groove (16). The profiled rail (14) is inserted into the receiving profiled section (24) of the support plate (12), and the profiled rail (14) is joined with the support plate (12). The receiving groove (16) faces the front face (20), and the support plate (12) at least partly covers the receiving groove (16) on the front face (20).
