Zusammenfassung: | A mechanical resonator with low level of symmetry for the measurement of the mechanical properties of individual particles that comprises: a resonator element (1) made of an elastic material and adapted for sustaining at least one oscillation mode, and a clamping structure (2) supporting the resonator element (1). Additionally, all edges of the resonator element (1) are anchored to the clamping structure (2), the thickness of the resonator element is much smaller than its length and width, such as a membrane, its mechanical symmetry is N≤2, and its aspect ratio comprised between 1+10*ma/M and 100, where ma is the mass of an analyte whose mass is to be measured and M is the mass of the resonator element (1) used to measure it. |
